I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
