The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The renowned video game developer lost his life when his automobile collided and caught fire on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
